Who We Are
Behnam Foundation of Ontario (BFO)
is a registered and volunteer based not-for-profit organization which raises funds through various initiatives for patients with cancer and rare diseases. Since 2010, BFO has raised substantial funds through the efforts of its valued volunteers and the goodwill of its donors and sponsors. Your involvement allows patients to obtain medical services, thus, enhancing their lives and those of their families.
Our Mission
Our mission is to raise funds for patients with cancer and rare diseases who are in financial need, as well as to raise awareness about prevention and treatment of cancers and rare diseases.

To create a world where everyone has access to quality cancer treatment.
Our Core Values
The following values serve as guidelines for our conduct and behaviour as we work toward our vision.

Integrity: We are honest, ethical, and credible in the use of all donations. Our work reflects the highest standard of conduct.
Dedication: We work hard and continuously strive for improvement. We embrace and celebrate the determination of our members and volunteers to accomplish our mission.
Our Policies
- We promote public health by supporting individuals diagnosed with cancer and rare diseases and paying for their medical treatments through the Behnam Daheshpour Charity Organization.
- BFO receives a list of patients identified as eligible through its agent and proceeds to allocate funds to those that meet its criteria.
- We accept donations only through PayPal and direct banking systems. BFO associates or representatives do not solicit cash donations.
- As BFO is a non-profit organization, all proceeds go toward funding treatments for patients with cancer and rare diseases and raising awareness.
- We have a fully transparent accounting system and our financial records are available to the public at request.
